Health & Safety

Train with care

High Intensity Training uses brief, all-out effort. That intensity only works when lifts are performed with controlled technique, a full range of motion you can own, and loads you can handle. Pushing to failure with poor form increases injury risk.

Not medical advice

HIT is a training log and program guide. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Plans and exercise demos are educational. They do not replace coaching, physical therapy, or a qualified healthcare professional.

Check with a professional

If you have an injury, pain, medical condition, or are new to resistance training, talk to a doctor or qualified coach before starting. Do not train through sharp pain, dizziness, chest pain, or unusual shortness of breath.

Warm up and progress sensibly

Use the warm-up sets in your program. Increase weight only when you can complete the target reps with solid form. Skip or modify exercises that you cannot perform safely with the equipment and technique you have available.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for how you use this app and how you train. Train within your limits, prioritize recovery, and stop a set or session when form breaks down.
